Special Event -
Friday  20th September 6.30pm - 9.00pm &
Saturday 21st September 2.00pm - 3.30pm

Throughout September and October two new exhibitions of art by regional artists will be free to attend at Déda,  Chapel Street, Derby.

Vitor Azevedo is an artist and owner of Artsmith Galley on  Monk StreetDerby. For this exhibition, Vitor explores his own personal history through a series of abstracted paintings. Like a pebble thrown into still water, these paintings offer a chance to see beneath the surface and visit subconscious thought.

Morph Creatives is a  Derby based collective of 14 artists whose exhibition at Déda will include interactive works by Katie Petraitis, a site specific collage by Del Coombs, ceramics by Nikki Waite and drawings by Michelle Neale.

This exhibition is curated by David Manley, who is an artist, educator and journalist in the arts.

On Friday 20th and Saturday 21st September, Deda will also be hosting five special performances of an intriguing and beautiful performance installation 'Between' by Angela Woodhouse and Jerwood award-winning artist Caroline Broadhead.

Both exhibitions will also be available to view, with representatives from the group present should you wish to chat to the artists!
